The new year is all about new hopes, beginnings, and resolutions. Although the last couple of new years had an unexpected start due to Covid 19, we have come out stronger. The pandemic may have altered the way of our working, but it has nowhere touched our productivity, determination, and approach. We kept on empowering our publisher partners with the latest technology amid these tough times, and we will continue to do so.
We are very excited to announce that we kick-started our new year with the launch of the paid subscriptions to the Tribune e-paper—one of our valued partners. With the integration of end-to-end paid subscriptions to e-paper, we unlocked new windows of success and growth for The Tribune.
So, let’s talk about the top 7 features that Tribune e-paper have:
Content monetisation
With this feature, we provide a complete end-to-end monetisation platform. Publishers can sell their content in three categories, i.e., single edition subscription, Bundled (via Readwhere Digicases) subscription, and archives. You can sell the subscriptions based on various plans such as three months or 6 months & annual subscriptions. Via Digicase subscription, publishers can sell the subscriptions via bundling two or more editions together and creating a high-value package for the end-users. They can also sell archives at a decided price point.
Geo-location pricing
With this feature, publishers can add separate pricing (in USD) for users based outside India. You only have to set USD pricing for each Digicase from the publisher panel, and the system will intelligently display the price as per the user’s location. And you are good to go!
Multiple payment options
We understand the importance of a smooth payment process in lifting the overall user experience. We have integrated multiple payment options, including credit card, debit card, UPI & Wallets, PayPal, International cards, and In-app payments, to ensure a seamless payment experience.
Analytics and subscriber management
The publisher will get a detailed analysis of its subscribers that will be based on platform-wise data and publication-wise data. They will be able to see various insights of subscribers such as total active subscribers, expiring subscribers, new subscribers, and MTD new subscribers. This real-time data will strengthen the decision-making potential of publishers.
Log-in Integration
We always try to impart the benefits of the most complex technologies in the simplest manner. The same goes with the log-in integration. Readers can quickly log in via single sign-on (Facebook & Google) and Apple ID in case of iOS devices. Log-in via OTP is also there, which is very useful for elderly readers who want a fuss-free reading experience.
Mailers and Reminders
With the Readwhere dashboard, subscribers will actively receive mailers and renewal reminder communication. This feature ensures active communication that keeps the subscribers up-to-date regarding their subscription. The reminders are sent one week before the subscription expiry date.
Invoicing and billing
We have integrated a detailed dashboard on which publishers will view all the sales-related data and invoicing details. All the data will be presented in an understandable manner that will allow publishers to keep a check on revenue management.
Closing note
With the above benefits, publishers will leverage the numerous benefits associated with digitisation and the best cross-platform framework for publishers.
